• Forefathers Blind Spot

    The Constitution, when it was set up, was a beautiful thing.  They divided up the power between the house, the senate and the president.  This was so that no one party had too much power.  It was also to ensure that the Constitution was upheld.  The blind spot is...what happens when the checks and balances are gone?  When the whole government becomes corrupt?  Just by Obama saying the Constitution is an outdated document could be considered words of treason.  It is quite clear where he is headed.  He is doing a total take over of this countries finances.  He is taking over major companies and now health care.  The government is setting itself up with too much power.  All of the acts could be looked at as treason.  But there is no one left in the government itself to stand up against them.  So where do we go from here? That is why the 2nd amendment was put in place.  I hope to God it gets better.  I hope, maybe, somewhere left in our government are some honest people who will step forward and enforce our Constitution.  Only time will tell.  America may be lost forever.

    Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn.
    
    It's dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term "Death Panels" -- and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists.
    
    Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.
    
    As we approach the final sprint on health reform, we can't afford more deception and delay. We need to be ready for anything -- and have the resources to respond with ads, events, and calls to Congress when the attacks come.
    
    So we're setting a big goal: $500,000 in the next week to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies. Please chip in $5 or more to help reach our goal.
    

    

    
    Earlier this month, Palin publicly said that she hopes health reform will be "dead on arrival." And since then, she's been working fiercely toward that goal.
    
    On Tuesday, Palin went on Rush Limbaugh's radio show where she outrageously -- and falsely -- suggested that Americans could "face jail time as punishment" if they don't buy insurance.
    
    Palin has many more interviews scheduled on Hannity and other conservative shows in the next few weeks, with more platforms to go after the President. As soon as she does, the rest of our opponents will likely parrot those attacks.

    Saturday night in a 60-39 vote, the Senate voted to move forward with it's version of the Historic health care bill. The legislation would require most Americans to carry insurance and provide subsidies to those who couldn't afford it. Congressional budget analysts put the legislation's cost at $979 billion over a decade and said it would reduce deficits over the same period while extending coverage to 94 percent of the eligible population. So what do you think? We want to know.

• God Bless You YBSROBIN, RIP

    On November 20th marked a year since my friend, a very special woman, which we met on the blogs a year earlier passed away. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN A YEAR since she's left this EARTH................there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about YBSRobin and her family. I pray that they are doing well.  I know YBSRobin is with OUR LORD AND IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE.........but with all the memories left behind, I laughed, I cried as I read so many of our blogs. In the next few days in her MEMORY I will repost the ones that were fun.....

    I will share part of my last communications with YBSRobin.......AND THESE THOUGHTS which she left for me.....WILL FOREVER LIVE IN MY HEART........

    I MISSED YOU.........YOU WERE THE BEST...........we spoke each night and some days............we laughed and cried..............we blog and blog..........and that's was alot of fun. MAY GOD HAVE YOU IN HIS LOVING ARMS...........I PRAY THAT YOUR FAMILY IS WELL.......as the Holidays fast approach, I know this is going to be tough.     I truly pray that God will continue to watch over you and your family.  And I pray for the health of your husband.  Hold on to him and be patient.  I am sure he loves you unconditionally and he is lucky to have some one like you as well to watch over him.  Embrace your family, and no matter what, love them over anything and everything else as they are the most important.

I was there today with my 15 y/o son because he is the future...our children and grandchildren will suffer on account of this administration..if we don't fight for them.
