Should you have to stand if a patriotic song is played at a sporting event?
Take a break, for a moment, from all of the political banter, arguing and finger pointing.
Everyone needs to have a little laughter each day. The day is more pleasant and you feel better too.
I hope you enjoy.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..
If the Army &Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY? Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What in the hell happened? Can you spell 'politicians?'
And I still have to 'press 1' for English!?
Good Lord let's find a new Home to blog on!!!!!!!
This is not a joke, I am serious, on another news station that I was watching (at a friends house) they did a report about about CUSSING IS GOOD FOR YOU, INCLUDING ON YOUR JOB or AT SCHOOL!!! (Yes, even recommending our children SWEAR! Can you believe it???)
I KID YOU NOT!!!
They said a person that swears several times a day is happier, has less stress and is not as prone to high blood pressure or a heart attack and they suggested this also be done AT YOUR WORK or SCHOOL! WTF?
That has to be the craziest bunch of crap I ever heard come from a newscasters mouth! Most places I worked at, you got caught swearing you were apt to be TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY, most companies I have workd for have a no cursing policy in place while working as do most schools. (so you don't offend anyone, that politically-correct garbage, ya know.)
I know if I get stressed and may end up saying a few choice words (that I shouldn't) it DOES NOTHING to lower my blood pressure, more like make it rise if anything, NOR does it really DE-STRESS me either, it actually makes the stress worse and my heart rate sure isn't casually beating either, beating more like an African Cannibal beating his jungle drums to say, DINNERS READY!
Where do they get this crap from????
What do you folks think?
Do you really think swearing and cursing several times a day, including on your job or at school is really healthy and beneficial as these idiots are claiming?
Or are you like me and it in all reality, actually makes you feel worse (during and after your little tirade)?

Thanks ....... Sandy Red Shirt
If the red shirt thing is new to you, read below how it went for a man....
Last week, while traveling to Chicago on business, I noticed a Marine sergeant traveling with a folded flag, but did not put two and two together..
After we boarded our flight, I turned to the sergeant, who'd been invited to sit in First Class (across from me), and inquired if he was heading home.
No, he responded.
Heading out I asked?
No. I'm escorting a soldier home.
Going to pick him up?
No. He is with me right now. He was killed in Iraq , I'm taking him home to his family.
The realization of what he had been asked to do hit me like a punch to the gut. It was an honor for him. He told me that, although he didn't know the soldier, he had delivered the news of his passing to the soldier's family and felt as if he knew them after many conversations in so few days.
I turned back to him, extended my hand, and said, Thank you Thank you for doing what you do so my family and I can do what we do.
Upon landing in Chicago the pilot stopped short of the gate and made the following announcement over the intercom.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to note that we have had the honor of having Sergeant Steeley of the United States Marine Corps join us on this flight. He is escorting a fallen comrade back home to his family. I ask that you please remain in your seats when we open the forward door to allow Sergeant Steeley to deplane and receive his fellow soldier. We will then turn off the seat belt sign."
Without a sound, all went as requested. I noticed the sergeant saluting the casket as it was brought off the plane, and his action made me realize that I am proud to be an American.
So here's a public Thank You to our military Men and Women for what you do so we can live the way we do.
Red Fridays.
Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority." We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing.
Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -- and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that ... Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women a far, will wear something red.
By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on.
The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is. "We need your support and your prayers." Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something red every Friday.
As people do have the right to defend them selves, it is a fact that guns and alcohol doesn't mix no matter how responsible you may think or know you are! As everyone knows, alcohol impairs your judgment! Though your intentions may be for the good of protection, alcohol can trigger and intensify anger which could lead to improper use of any weapon being knife or gun! No weapon should be allowed where alcohol is served! However, where alcohol is limited by the customer in a restaurant with a meal, could be deemed OK as long as its with a meal only. Going beyond the meal could present a danger as the alcohol limits increases!
If driving while under the influence is deadly, couldn't the same be said with carrying a loaded gun while under the influence?
Illegals Cost $11 Billion a Year for Healthcare
The cost of providing illegal aliens with medical care amounts to nearly $11 billion a year — and that expense is not expected to go away if a healthcare insurance reform bill is passed.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told CNN's John King recently that illegal immigrants would not be covered under the reform being pushed by Democrats.
King asked, "And so what happens to a public hospital if they walk into the emergency room?"
Pelosi responded: "I do know that the law requires that if somebody comes in off the street and needs care, that is extended.
"What we see in this legislation is that people will have access to affordable healthcare, and it will diminish the number of people going into those private, public hospitals in the manner in which you described."
That statement makes little sense in light of Pelosi's assertion that illegals would not be covered, since in that case they would not be any less likely to seek care in an emergency room.
The Federation for American Immigration Reform's Director of Special Projects Jack Martin told CNSNews.com that illegal immigrants cost federal and state governments an estimated $10.7 billion a year in healthcare spending, including the cost of so-called "anchor babies" — children born to illegal immigrant parents in U.S. hospitals.
Those babies are technically U.S. citizens, but Martin pointed out that taxpayers would never have had to pay their mothers' medical bills if they had not entered the U.S. illegally.
Each anchor baby costs taxpayers about $10,000 on average, according to Martin, and these costs are paid through Medicaid.
The cost of emergency room care for adults is borne primarily by the states. Martin calculated that states pay a total of nearly $7 billion a year on healthcare for their illegal immigrants.
A study by the Center for Immigration Studies came up with a similar figure.
President Barack Obama, as well as Pelosi, has said illegal aliens won't be covered by a healthcare reform plan.
But on July 17, Democrats successfully defeated a Republican-backed amendment, offered by Rep. Dean Heller of Nevada, that would have prevented illegal aliens from receiving government-subsidized healthcare under the proposed plan backed by House Democrats and Obama.
The House Ways and Means Committee nixed the Heller amendment by a 26-to-15 vote along straight party lines.
A friend of mine sent me a video to watch which brought tears to my eyes and I wish to share it with you...Child abuse is no laughing matter! ENJOY!

Press one for English.
Are you tired of hearing that?
You should be, and you should be extremely pissed at the politicians in this country who are willing to give our country away to illegal immigrants. You can make a difference. You can change things. But you have to be united and speak with a loud voice.
Check out this new web site where the real problem with the illegal immigration is explained. And be prepared to be shocked at what is happening in this country while we are asleep. We are about to lose our country.

GOD BLESS AMERICA “ GOD WE TRUST"
HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION
TO LET THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES.
WHAT AN EMPTY HEADED PERSON HE MUST BE....
Bad press, Including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon
Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require
veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated
$540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries
to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The
President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the
opposition to his proposal. "Look, it's an all volunteer force,"
Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have
known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?
It doesn't compute." "I thought these were people who were proud to
sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money.
With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the
patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I
underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."
Please pass this on to everyone including every vet and their families whom you know.
How in the world did a person with this mindset become our leader?
I didn't vote for him!!!
REMEMBER THIS STATEMENT... "Nobody made these guys go to war.
They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about
bearing the costs of their choice? If this ASS thinks he will ever get
another vote from an Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard service
member or veteran of a military service he ought to think it over.
If you or a family member is or has served their country please pass this to them.
Please pass this to everyone.
I'm guessing that other than the 20-25 percent hardcore liberals in the US will
agree that this is just another example why this is the worst president in American history.
Remind everyone over and over how this man thinks, while he bows to the
Saudi Arabian king.

I know I have posted this before ...Just want to keep it fresh...
It's not your fault .... You do not deserve it... Get the help you need..

Just wondering.
Another blog brought back memories of a time and America that seems so far in the past it belongs in the Smithsonian Institute.
Whatever happened to;
Everyone standing for the Pledge of Allegiance and reciting it proudly.
People worked hard for what they had and were proud of it.
You didnt use the court system as a way to make a living.
A persons word was as good as gold.
Children respected their elders and were respectful of others.
You could walk down the street as a kid and not worry about being abducted.
You could sleep with the windows open and the doors unlocked.
People helped one another out without expecting anything in return.
Having respect and integrity were a way of life not just words.
As a child, if you did something wrong, you were punished and you learned from it.
Trashy low(no) class people were shunned and chastised, not put on television to air out their dirty secrets.
You didnt need to test 10 different men to find out who the babies daddy is.
School was for learning. Not a place for the formation or recruitment of gangs or drug sales.
Mom and dad spent quality time with their children and meals were eaten at the table.
Traditions were honored and change was met with skepticism.
Sorry for rambling but I miss those days. A simpler time. Maybe my memory is clouded with nostalga.
