    I always like to spend my $$$ at businesses that support the military.  For example, for years Golden Corral has given free meals to active duty and military vets, this year is no exception.

    Below is a list of some of the businesses supporting our troops.  Please patronize them and thank them for supporting our military.  If you know of others, please add.

    Veterans Day is this Wednesday, November 11th. Honoring all those who have served for this country, a number of restaurants and retail outlets are giving away freebies for veterans. Here are a few of the ones we've been informed about:

    • Applebee's - free dinner on Nov. 11th at any time of the day
    • Outback Steakhouse - free Blooming Onion and beverage on Nov. 11th.
    • Golden Corral - free buffet dinner on Nov. 16th from 5 to 9pm.

    Should we just agree to set aside the Constitution and let Barack Hussein Obama ram through his entire socialist agenda in one October afternoon?
    
    Should we just not bother to question any of the bills that have come through Congress on his watch to determine if they’re constitutional? After all, Health Care legislation, the Cap-and-Trade bill, and the Stimulus Package are all over 1.000 pages – much too long to read. Besides, we trust Obama, don’t we?
    
    Should we just allow Obama’s 32 “czars” to run every aspect of our lives without constitutional restraint or congressional oversight.
    
    If you said no to any of these statements, then perhaps you should take a second look at Obama’s eligibility to serve as President of the United States?
    
         The far-left Democrats and their media cheerleaders smirk and snicker at the very idea that Obama might be ineligible to hold the office he assumed in January of 2009.  Chortling up their sleeves, bent double with mirth, they call anyone who advances this idea a “conspiricist” – a word that hasn’t made it into my Webster’s New World Dictionary.
    
         And yet, at the same time, they relentlessly pursue those that should be the object of their scornful laughter... just ask CNN's Lou Dobbs who suggested that journalists should cover the story simply to put it to rest.
    
         The left-wing attack machine pursued him zealously... attempted to get him fired from CNN... why? ... a lot of effort to expend over a matter that shouldn't be taken seriously... right?
    
         If anything, such a dysfunctional reaction on the part of the left and the MSM indicates that the issue is indeed worth pursuing.
    
         Admittedly, far too many conservatives have been intimidated by this combination of scornful laughter and relentless pursuit. But that hasn't stopped a growing number of patriotic Americans from embracing the issue.
    
         And that's why we must not stop fighting... why we must not cower...  why we must continue this fight... and the place to start is with the Mainstream Media that refuses to report this story... that continually distorts this story... that derisively laughs at those who demand that they do their jobs.
    
         It's time to let them know that their days of calling the shots are numbered and the best way to send that message, in a way that even they can understand, is to send them a "pink-slip."

     

    To Clear The Air Of Gun Smoke, Let’s Review The Relevant Facts One More Time.
    
         During the campaign, it was reported that Barack Hussein Obama's grandmother claimed she was present when he was born in what is now Kenya.
    
         Obama's campaign apparently took the matter seriously at first... likety-split... quicker than you can say Jack Robinson... a document that was supposed to be his “birth certificate” appeared on his campaign website.  It indicated he was born in Hawaii... so that settled the matter, right?
    
         Wrong. That document only complicated matters, because it was merely a “Certification of Live Birth,” and not Obama's actual birth certificate.
    
         People asked... what about the actual birth certificate... and since that time, Obama has refused to produce his actual birth certificate... and has spent as much as 1.5 million by some estimates to thwart efforts by patriotic Americans to compel him to produce an actual birth certificate.
    
         With each passing day, the American people continually ask.... Why?
    
         The only logical conclusion is that Obama 's actual birth certificate contains information he’s desperate to conceal.  But why conceal the one document that could prove that you are eligible, under the Constitution, to serve as President of the United States?
    
         Of course, Obama is keeping a lot of his records from the eyes of the American people.
    
         His school records are sealed.  Why?  Do they perhaps indicate that he received foreign aid at Occidental College – which would mean he had applied as a non-citizen.
         His records from the Illinois State Senate are sealed.  His hospital records are sealed.
    
         In the past, candidates for president (with the exception Bill Clinton) and other offices have routinely made their records public. Why is Obama refusing to do the same?
    
         And why is the MSM refusing to pursue the matter?  Such actions are, at the very least, negligent... a reason for termination... a reason to send the MSM a message that the American people refuse to be played for fools.
    

     
    
         We don’t know, do we?  His life is a book filled with blank pages.
    
         In the past, the press has descended on candidates for national office like cats on mice. They have interviewed first-grade teachers, next-door neighbors, high school sweethearts, college professors, in-laws, political enemies, and house servants.
    
         Thus we learned about Richard Nixon’s slush fund, Tom Eagleton’s shock treatments, Kitty Dukakis’s medication problem, and everything you’d ever want to know about Sarah Palin’s family... whether factual or not.
    
         Yet the media has told us almost nothing about Barack Obama.
    
         Reporters, editors and publishers give him a free pass, and by those actions, they may be missing the biggest story in the history of presidential politics – how a candidate, ineligible for the office, became President of the United States.
    
         Obama -- more than any president in history – has enjoyed virtual immunity from the kind of persistent and invasive probing others have suffered – particularly George W. Bush.
    
         It is time we awakened the press – by insisting that the question be asked at every turn: “Why won’t you release your records, Mr. President?” “Why won’t you open the windows of your life and let the sunshine in

    But they’re on the political left. I wrote yesterday about Glenn Beck’s feature on the violent demonstration by leftists in Pittsburgh (which was covered up by the New York Times and the rest of the left-wing media.) He also reported on the bombing of a radio tower in the State of Washington by the Earth Liberation Front — a left-wing terrorist organization — which went equally unreported. Instead we are treated to a rash of hand-wringings by liberals like Tom Friedman who talk about incitements that could lead to the assassination of President Obama.

    Pete Wehner has an excellent blog on this hypocrisy, recalling that a film was actually made by leftists portraying the assassination of President Bush among many other incitements against him by leftists with no — absolutely no — complaints by Friedman and the NY Times. In fact the whole Democratic Party leadership accused Bush of lying to get us into a war and killing young Americans in the process. “Bush lied people died” was the favored leftist chant of the Iraq War, just like “Hey Hey LBJ How Many Kids Did You Kill Today?” was during the Vietnam War. The incitement to assassinate American presidents is the background music of the American left. “Captialism is evil!” “Our leaders are torturers!” “He BETRAYED us!” Screamed Al Gore one of the inciters — and liars –in chief.

    What Wehner is too polite to mention is not only are the armies of the left fascist in behavior but are in full-throated support of our terrorist enemies (whom they like to pretend are only enemies of apartheid Jews) — Hizbullah and Hamas. Every major leftist organization is in some kind of fraternal alliance with CAIR and the Muslim Students Association who sponsor genocidal speakers on college campuses and organize demonstrations to proclaim the birth of Israel on land confiscated from the Turks as a “catastrophe” and who call for the destruction of the Jewish state. But liberals like Friedman are so filled with venemous hatred of patriotic Americans on the right that the only fascism they can see are Tea Party picnickers on the capitol lawn.

    How hypocritical?

    Where Are The Body Bags?

    Virtually every day during the Iraq War when George Bush was president, the New York Times featured a dead soldier, or many dead soldiers, on its front page. Every day the paper tugged at the heart-strings of Americans at home for their young men and women sent to die by a presidential liar for “no reason” in an “unnecessary war.” Barack Obama has continued both wars started by President Bush (and what does that tell you about liberal lies?) but there are no body bags to be seen, no heart-wrenching stories on the front page of the New York Times, no tales of needlessly dead American soldiers, no stories of American torturers, and no stories of collateral damage to innocent civilians (and how many civilians do you think has Obama blown up)? And why is that? Because the American left was willing to give victory to America’s enemies for political gain at home.

    Woke up to find the post-racial candidate playing the race card like it was the world's tiniest violin:

    “We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run,” said the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. “They’re going to try to make you afraid. They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. ‘He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s black?’"

    In similar comments at a Chicago fundraiser last Thursday, Obama told supporters that Republicans would try to portray both him and his wife Michelle as "scary."

    "They’re going to try to make me into a scary guy,” he said last week. “They’re even trying to make Michelle into a scary person. Right?" And so that drumbeat – 'we’re not sure if he’s patriotic or not; we’re not sure if he is too black.'

    "I don’t know, before I wasn’t black enough," said Obama. "'Now he might be too black. We don’t know whether he’s going to socialize – well, who knows what.'"

     

    I don't know. Could you work the words "fear", "afraid", "scary", and "black" in there just a few more times, Barry? Because I'm "afraid" voters might miss the point.

    You know, that you're... like, totally ... black. And the bad, scary Republicans want us to be afraid of you. Because you're so ... black. Even though you're half white. Which we're not supposed to talk about, because that would be focusing on race and you were so hoping we could get beyond that, I know. Damned Republicans. If only they'd quit bringing up the fact.

    That you're black. And we should fear you.

    Odd tactic, for a man liberals keep saying is so likable and non-threatening he may well be our first woman president. The looming menace must express itself in a disarmingly feminine, non-threatening way.

    Which is why the Republicans have to keep reminding everyone of your essential Blackitude and scariliciousness. It's subtle, man. Under the radar, sub rosa, float like a butterfly sting like a bee .... BAM!!! That's what makes you dangerous. You're a dangerous black man, with an Ivy League education. You use words like numchuks.

    Boo!

    For an ostensibly post-racial candidate raised by a white mother (mind you, this is the half of the parental equation which actually cared enough to stick around and make sure he was fed, clothed, and received an education) Barack Obama sure spends a lot of time talking about being black. It's almost as though he were trying to convince himself - or us - of his street creds. I don't get it.

    Oh well. Congratulations Senator. You just joined Cynthia McKinney on my list of people whose arrogant sense of entitlement only serves to deepen the painful divisions this country is already struggling with.

    I thought that this country was founded with the base that there will be tolerance and acceptance of all no matter their race, realigion, creed, place of origin. Whether black, white, tan, yellow, green, purple or plaid, ALL are equal.

    Given that they follow laws, commit no crime, just live decent and honest lives no matter who they are.

    With truth be told, unless one is Native American we ALL in our heritage were ALIEN at some point.

    I do agree though, if ya live here, love it, protect it, and make the absolute best of it.

    How about if we get honest about illegal immigrants being in our country? 

    How about organizations like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which has supported the illegals being here or the many other "American" organizations that do the same?

    Why are we so slow to point fingers at the Americans who support and/or condone their presence?  For example, I have yet to see an employer of illegals who is named on the blogs. 

    Is it because Americans are reluctant to give up cheap labor even after they have found out that it is not so "cheap" after all?

    I find it amazing and somewhat hypocritical that those who bashed bush for years are all of a sudden very patriotic and want everyone to show repect to obama because he is our president. 

    In 1991 Demacrats were quick to jump on Bush for giving a speech much like obama's.

Patricia Schroeder (D-Colo.), chairwoman of the Select Committee on Children, Youth and Families, said it was outrageous for the White House to “start using precious dollars for campaigns” when “we are struggling for every silly dime we can get” for education programs.

    Rep. Martin Frost (D-Tex.) said that if Bush feels obliged to use government funds to hire outside consultants “to make him look good,” then he should fire some of the public relations experts on the White House payroll. “Then the president might be more sympathetic to unemployment benefits,” Frost said, referring to Bush’s threat to veto legislation to extend benefits.

    Although they used the fact it was paid for by the Dept. of Ed as their main argument...(which also paid for obama's) against his speech, it was in fact a speech very simular to obama's revised speech.  Our schools need the money that was spent by obama even more today ....yet I haven't heard any protests from the dems about what was spent on obama's (campaign )speech today.

    If you have a profile on certain website, probably including this one since it is linked as hosts towards those sites then you should know and have the right to know that the White House is hiring a contractor to harvest information about Americans from its pages on social networking websites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.  If you notice even on FOX they no long have a link to MySpace above their home pages!

    It would seem with or without your permission; hackers are invading through the internet in all shapes and form including government!  The invasions of your privacy rights are being treated as non-existence and you as an American have no rights when even through those who gives an oath and promise to protect are also the corporate!

    The trusts you place within those who are elected to protect are in fact using criminal intent for their own gain with all disregards to your rights and privacy!  Are these the kind of politicians you really want to represent you?  So why not just go ahead and give this country to your enemies on a gold and silver platter!  Who is being the real un-American now!

    Trust is only given to those who show to be trusted!  Ignorance will be your demise and punishment!  Every action government has taken links, stinks, and leads to further corruption of criminal intents!

    The question now ponders within my mind about the swine flu that has gotten so out of hand in which the FDA (government—hint hint), was very quick to name and learn about to come up with a shot for people so quickly!  Now of course there is claim that this new flu originated from Mexico to here but what hasn’t been questioned is HOW it came all of a sudden active!  In theory, and from certain evaluation of certain government actions and bills presented…I think this flu was developed by our government scientists and released for the means they need to gain control over this country…a conspiracy excuse for getting more authority and power control over the people!  There has not been one fact or other theory given on just where this new h1n1 flu actually came from or how it even came to light!  It just so happens it targets mainly people Young and Elderly with pre-existing medical problems…Coincidence??????? (I THINK NOT)  And they knew so much about this new BUG to come up with a shot for it so quickly…amazing!  Coincidence??????? (I THINK NOT)

     

    There are way to many things which co-exist and connect with one another not to be just be mere coincidence!  The EVILS of government is on the move to destruction all for political power and governmental control!  Everything keeps pointing in the same direction (OUR GOVERNMENT)

     

    Anyway…If citizens refuse to comply with isolation or quarantine orders in the event of a health emergency, they may be imprisoned for up to 30 days and fined $1,000 per day that the violation continues.  (This is a communist action)

     

    ¬ a local public health authority, with approval of the commissioner, may exercise the following authorities (emphasis added):

    ¬ to require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises;

    ¬ to close, direct, and compel the evacuation of, or to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated any building or facility, and to allow the reopening of the building or facility when the danger has ended;

    ¬ to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated, or to destroy any material;

    ¬ to restrict or prohibit assemblages of persons;

    ¬ to require a health care facility to provide services or the use of its facility, or to transfer the management and supervision of the health care facility to the department or ¬ to a local public health authority;

    ¬ to control ingress to and egress from any stricken or threatened public area, and the movement of persons and materials within the area;

    ¬ to adopt and enforce measures to provide for the safe disposal of infectious waste and human remains, provided that religious, cultural, family, and individual beliefs of the deceased person shall be followed to the extent possible when disposing of human remains, whenever that may be done without endangering the public health;

    ¬ to procure, take immediate possession from any source, store, or distribute any anti-toxins, serums, vaccines, immunizing agents, antibiotics, and other pharmaceutical agents or medical supplies located within the commonwealth as may be necessary to respond to the emergency;

    ¬ to require in-state health care providers to assist in the performance of vaccination, treatment, examination, or testing of any individual as a condition of licensure, authorization, or the ability to continue to function as a health care provider in the commonwealth;

    ¬ to waive the commonwealth's licensing requirements for health care professionals with a valid license from another state in the United States or whose professional training would otherwise qualify them for an appropriate professional license in the commonwealth;

    ¬ to allow for the dispensing of controlled substance by appropriate personnel consistent with federal statutes as necessary for the prevention or treatment of illness;

    ¬ to authorize the chief medical examiner to appoint and prescribe the duties of such emergency assistant medical examiners as may be required for the proper performance of the duties of office;

    ¬ to collect specimens and perform tests on any animal, living or deceased;

    ¬ to exercise authority under sections 95 and 96 of chapter 111;

    ¬ to care for any emerging mental health or crisis counseling needs that individuals may exhibit, with the consent of the individuals

     

    Public health emergency responders would be required to exercise their powers over transportation routes, communication devices, carriers, public utilities, fuels, food, clothing and shelter, according to the legislation.

    I'm voting Democrat because I agree with Joe Biden, that it really is patriotic to pay more taxes. So I'm going to pay a "direct tax." Instead of wasting time giving it to the government for redistribution, I will give my money to derelicts who loiter outside of liquor stores and methadone clinics. That's where it ends up anyway.
