      I think they, the liberal politicians, forgot about Lefty and Shadows beer farts. All that hot air and beer farts has to impact global warming. Time to tax Lefty and Shadows to save our planet. I know, I know. Lefty and Shadows rears are probably being taxed to the hilt (and I'm not talking about sex).

      I'm talking about taxing those nasty Lefty and Shadows beer farts which are destroying the ozone. The very reason Obama needs to jump on the bandwagon at the Global Climate Change summit next month, not stopping at just Cap and Trade.

      Cow farts worse for global warming than initially suspected. Methane gas, "new and improved", now comes with 30% more "evil".

      When this indirect effect of the potent greenhouse gas is included one tonne of methane has about 33 times as much effect on the climate over 100 years as a ton of carbon dioxide, rather than 25 times as in standard estimates

      But wait, there's more. Sulphate molecules, produced when sulphur dioxide is oxidised in the atmosphere, have a cooling effect on the climate as they reflect heat but, while their direct effects are included in climate models, their indirect effects in combination with methane and other gases are not.

      Methane and carbon monoxide reduce levels of sulphate aerosols, because they use up oxidants such as hydroxyl in the atmosphere. Fewer oxidant molecules are thus available to oxidise sulphur dioxide to produce sulphate.

      All that "low sulfur" fuel we pay extra to refine and produce is actually hurting the effort to combat global warming, by reducing available sulfur dioxides for sulphate reaction.

      I ask you, is there anywhere else on the planet other than the USA where there are brain surgeon politicians who allow you to pay extra for the privilege of "harming" the planet and being a pawn of the Dark Lord of Global Warming all in one shot? I think not.

      Dear SantaDear SantaYou know the expression "One Bad Apple"!  Well it would seem that the US Postal Service has not only allowed "One Bad Apple" to spoil the whole lot but they have hurt themselves with NO MORE SANTA LETTERS!  Seems the Postal Service not only has claimed of losses due to internet and other competition but they went further by cutting their own throats!  So why don't they just suggest to parents how they should explain this to their children!  This is only within the USA, all other children around the world will be sending their letters in!  So want our children be concerned and upset about letting Santa know what they want for Christmas?  How do you explain this to children?

      By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza .

      The "presidential determination", which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States , was signed and appears in the Federal Register.

      Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

      Let's review....itemized list of some of Barack Obama ' s most recent actions since his inauguration:

      His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

      His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

      His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not just here within the U. S. , but within the world, using U. S. tax payer funds.

      He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

      He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

      He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the "terror attack" on 9/11.

      Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

      These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the blinding bail-outs and "stimulation" packages.

  • NYC Terrorist Trial

      As we all know by now, Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four other terrorist masterminds will be tried in NYC very soon, even though they have pled guilty in Gitmo.

      What follows are the incontrovertible facts surrounding this impending trial.

      Let’s just say that, for sake of argument, the judge appointed to reside over this trial is completely impartial and beholden to the law and the U.S. Constitution, and has no political agenda or ideology whatsoever. Let’s also assume that the judge is not a Democrat and not vehemently opposed to all counter-terrorism efforts since 9/11. And let us also assume that this judge will fully uphold the constitution without any countering political retribution. Clearly this is a huge long-shot.

      Here’s the heart of this trial: virtually no prosecutorial evidence can be admitted. Why you ask?

      It’s simple, interrogations of any suspect are inadmissible, no matter how mild or harsh, without consent of the lawyers of the accused. Furthermore, there has to be proof that KSM and his fellow co-conspirators were effectively issued their respective Miranda Rights. Since we were treating them a enemy combatants, not criminals, and since they are not U.S. citizens techniques were used to gain valuable information, that wouldn't have been used if they were civil criminals. 

      Additionally, in the impending USA versus KSM and the co-conspirators, all classified sources and methods would have to be fully revealed. This means that ALL intelligence agencies would have to reveal ALL of the USA’s deepest secrets and would essentially be forced to disband. The CIA, FBI, NSA, DoD, DoJ, and all other agencies would essentially render themselves forever ineffective!

      After acknowledging all of these facts, it is clear that without any admissible evidence, beyond “hear-say”, all these defendants will have their cases dismissed. There is absolutely no way that the prosecution of these terrorists will be allowed to continue!

      As bad as this all clearly is, it gets worse! These terrorists and all others at Guantanamo would be allowed restitution for their incarceration, costing the U.S. taxpayers hundreds of millions and even billions of U.S. tax dollars!

      Think about this for a moment. Thanks to President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder (whose lawfirm represents some the Gitmo detainees), the families of the 6,000 murdered Americans will be forced to endure the pain of not only this immense breach of justice, but an immense tax burden of financially rewarding terrorists for their horrific crimes against ALL Americans and humanity.

      Gentle readers, I must immediately confess I am not a big fan of Ronald Reagan but he was sort of fun as Cali Governor and President.  I wonder how much Presidents really change things when there is so much action behind the scenes that only spooks here and abroad are privy to.  Ok, on to the real theme of this blog...

      I saw a snippet of an old Ronald Reagan speech about something to do with Star Wars or a similar "mouth on the public teat".  In that speech, he said that if aliens from outer space attacked, that would unite all the nations on earth.

      Whatwith all the talk about illegal aliens here in the USA, what would be your reaction and what do you suppose the national reaction would be if aliens from another planet were to arrive, not necessarily to attack (by virtue of their arrival, their technology would probably be more advanced and could have us for dinner if desired)?

      Scoff if you must but the discovery of hydrogen hydroxide on the moon has shown us stranger things will probably happen. 

      Would nations tend to become more peaceful if there was a perceived threat affecting the planet?  If so, why couldn't it happen sooner rather than later?

      And be honest, wouldn't yhou freak out a bit if ET's actually make an overt visit one day?

      According to WND, a Radical Muslim Group here in the USA is praising Major Hasan for his heroic attack and his actions should not be denounced!  In fact, the attack has been called a "pre-emptive attack" by supporters of the "Revolution Muslim" website!

      Major Hasan's attack also looks to possibly be pre-meditated since Hasan, a Muslim psychiatrist who reportedly had been disciplined for pushing Islam on his patients at one point in his career, had given away his furniture and handed out Qurans before going to the military post and firing on soldiers at a processing center where soldiers prepared to deploy.

      The supporting activists proclaimed. "Rest assure the slain terrorists at Fort Hood are in the eternal hellfire and it is not to late for YOU to change your policies,"

      According to CNN reporters who discussed a video of the suspect, Hasan stopped by his regular visited convenience store just hours before the shooting!  The store owner, wearing traditional Islamic robes, confirmed Hasan had spoken of his concern over being placed in a situation where he might have to shoot at "fellow Muslims."  The store owner also said Hasan spoke some Arabic but could not carry a conversation in the language.

      It would seem that Major Hasan was completely sane while he planned his attack based on his own confessions!

  • The Lies Are Catching Up

      When Obama exagerated in February and said that the $787 billion stimulus bill would unleash "a new wave of innovation, activity and construction," he probably didn't have tidying up gravestones in mind. But that is what some of the money has paid for, along with frozen fish sperm, Taser guns and an ongoing political back pain that Obama easily could have easily avoided.

      As reporters start to pour over the details of the biggest fraud on Americans to date, the stimulus, they are finding the spending reports the White House released a little more than a week ago contain lots of wasted taxpayers dollars similar to the above.

      In addition to the above, reporters at ProPublica found stimulus money spent on tickets for a musical version of "Little House on the Prairie," a cotton candy machine and, breakfast at Fuddruckers. Sadly, the so called "right wing Republicans" told everyone about this fraud before it happened. They were chided as the party of "No". After all no one read the bill.  But as seems to be commonplace, Kool-Aid drinkers believed the liberal lies, instead of the sound of America being flushed down the toilet.

      Then there's the uncovering of a huge "whopper" over how many jobs have actually been "created or saved," as the administration likes to put it. Obama says 640,329 so far, despite the fact that we have lost 3.4 million jobs since Obama was elected (blames Bush for the 37 time). 

      Last week, reporters actually interested in facts, turned up some serious cases of job inflation. Examples:

      - The Associated Press found that a pay raise for 508 employees was counted as 935 jobs saved.
      - The New York Times discovered that $1,047 for a rider mower for a cemetery in Arkansas was credited with saving or creating 50 jobs.
      - In Milwaukee, reporters at the Journal Sentinel uncovered examples of double counting, jobs for projects that hadn't received any stimulus money, and other problems.
      - The Chicago Tribune found that $4.7 million sent to schools in North Chicago was credited with saving 473 jobs in a district that employs only 290.
      - USA Today reported that a $26,174 grant to fix a fence and repair roofs in Texas was reported to have created 450 jobs. Actual number of jobs involved was six.

      Even assuming the total jobs number is right, the administration is also defending itself against claims that the cost per job (based on $159 billion spent so far) comes out to more than $240,000. And of course, it doesn't help Obama that all these created or saved stimulus jobs have come at a time when the ranks of the unemployed swelled nearly 600,000 in October and almost 1 million since June.

      Obama can complain that stimulus critics finding out the truth are right wingers, committing calculator abuse, or focusing on small data problems. But he has only himself to blame. That's what you get for trying to lie, cheat and steal from the taxpayers.

      Consider a Conservative approach:

      Rather than funnel the stimulus money through government agencies, he could have simply handed out roughly $6,500 in cash to every household in the country. Sure, it would have stimulated the economy and created many jobs, but the government could not become massive and control American lives.

      Obama also could have avoided lying and being so hyper-focused on putting out specific job number predictions (right down to the congressional district level) and instead he could have lied as usual and stuck to a simple, vague claim that when the government borrows and spends hundreds of billions of dollars, it's bound to create or save some jobs.

      And, of course, Obama could have not bothered to make his transparency pledge at all. That is another one of the biggest lies he has been caught in. I mean with 40+  czars and a socialist shadow government how can you be transparent?

      He is caught only because investigative reporters have poured through these stimulus spending reports filed and posted online that reporters and critics are having such a field day with the data.

      Trouble for Obama is, perception and exposure is everything in public policy, and no matter what the actual effects of Obama's lies regarding stimulus spending, this steady diet of news reports about weird spending projects and phantom jobs will only cause the public to see the stimulus as a gigantic boondoggle. Already, only a quarter think it's helping the economy, according to a recent Rasmussen poll.

      Their days are numbered beginning in 2010! Take it to the polls people!

      I’m writing to you because as a member of congress you are in a position of distinction and influence and we the people, the taxpayers need advocates to look out for our interest and we need leaders in the Senate and in the House to return the focus of this administration to the constitution and fiscal responsibility. I am concerned that with the growth of the executive branch it is becoming more difficult to exercise the checks and balance system that our founding fathers designed. I am very displeased with the out of control government spending and the massive take over of major private industry in this country. I was frustrated before; when I learned that you all were not able to decipher the bills and have not been given ample time to review them. Now I see that you have been subjected to extreme pressure and have been expected to vote on these bills and resolutions without appropriate research and debate. Worse yet, now I have learned that members of the House of Representatives and the Senate are not even writing the bills. It has become public knowledge that many of these bills are being authored by some of President Obama’s Czars (special advisors). Many of these “advisors” are radical extremists and have not even been vetted or confirmed by congress and haven’t even passed the background checks that high level government officials are required to have. In addition it is becoming painfully obvious that they represent an extreme agenda that is not complicit with the best interest of our country and our constitution. I am concerned that our Congress is being used and manipulated for the interests of the Obama administration. 

      All of the irresponsible actions and out of control spending of this administration and this congress will have an extreme negative impact on our economy and nation’s security for generations to come. It is basic; the government cannot effectively or efficiently handle the programs under its control now such as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, so how can the government take on more? The government has taken over banking, automotive, insurance, and now you all are pushing hard for government run healthcare. This is a recipe for more corruption and bureaucratic red tape. If this congress pushes this through, each member and their families should be subjected the same coverage and low standard of care that will undoubtedly be the new norm. Socialized medicine is a failure all over the world so why would we want to emulate failure? To be responsible and realistic, NO ONE should support any bill that puts the government in charge of providing and administering healthcare! I think it would be appropriate to look at formulating a solid “Patient Bill of Rights” including, portability, competition across state lines, tort reform, and prohibiting discrimination based on preexisting conditions. 

      I have grave concerns about the extreme environmentalist agenda that circumvents reason and research to push their corrupt agenda. I believe in being good stewards of our planet but the Cap and Trade legislation is a disaster for the USA and for every taxpayer. This bill will make us weak and dependent in every way. This bill does NOT have the best interest of the USA as any part of its agenda. Carbon credits are simply a way to force us into submission to corruptive powers both domestic and abroad. This will cripple us for generations if it goes through. Why are we not looking at building natural gas liquefaction plants like the one in Qatar? Why have we build nuclear power plants all over the world for other nations and yet we are so restricted here? What about clean coal technology? What about allowing responsible drilling for oil HERE? There are real ways to reduce our carbon emissions, create jobs, and make energy MORE affordable therefore truly STIMULATE our economy but our leaders refuse to consider these options. I’m stunned! 

      Overall, I am horrified with the actions of this administration and the driving forces of this congress throwing good money after bad into this bottomless pit of corruption. The stimulus packages have had no positive affects. Our savings and college funds for our children have plummeted, the dollar is being devalued more and more each day, our government refuses to allow us to do what is necessary to be more self reliant by growing and development our energy sector, you all sign us up with Cap and Trade so that we will be impotent in the global market. It is clear that if we continue in this direction we will be just another European Style social Welfare nation who will be weak and disrespected throughout the world and we will lose all the wonderful qualities that our founding fathers structured for us. 

      Printing more and more money and taxing the productive individuals of our society is a monumental error in judgment. China will call in their markers. How incredible that we owe our souls to communist China and they are really not our friends. This may explain why Obama is flying the Communist Chinese flag at the White House later this month. That will surely send a message of our vulnerability all over the world. 

      You are supposed to be representing AMERICANS. The constitution and citizenship of the USA should be your first priority. Please address my concerns in a letter and give me some reassurance that you are working for the strength, solvency, and security of our great nation.

      Since the USA is in the throes of change, and there is no going back, why not try something innovative before we succumb to chaos and anarchy?

      Here's the deal in a nut shell: If you create something in the USA, you reap 100% of the profit and pay no tax.  That's right, NO TAX!  If you make software, a computer, shoes, frisbees, whatgever, NO TAXES!!!  If you improve land for a house or a factory for your creations, then you get to keep it for as long as you live and create.  The end of land speculation forever.  The end of crazy lawyers in government making up tax laws that only they can understand, and sometimes I have my doubts even they understand it.

      If nature created it, then a single tax will be placed on your product.  This covers oil, gas (flatulence excepted), timber, minerals, water, etc.  This tax will be used for the common weal.  Socialism you say? Nay, say I!  Alaska residents get a yearly check from big oil.  Sort of like that deal, except expand it to natures creations besides oil.  For the all the multinationals who are not beholden by national boundaries, pay your tax or you are out of business here.  We can do it ourselves, thank you very much.

      Check this out . I can verify this because I was in Lowes the other day for some reason and just for the heck of it I was looking at the hose attachments . They were all made in China . The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there . They were made in USA . Start looking .

      In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else - even their job . So, after reading this email, I think this lady is on the right track . Let's get behind her!

      My grandson likes Hershey's candy . I noticed, though, that it is marked made in Mexico now . I do not buy it any more . My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico now .   I have switched to Crest . You have to read the labels on everything .

      This past weekend I was at Kroger . I needed 60 W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets . I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off brand labeled, "Everyday Value . " I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats - they were the same except for the price . The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA in a company in Cleveland , Ohio .

      So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here .

      So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheets . . . yep, you guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada . The Everyday Value brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price!
